Information about School Lunches

We use Dolce Catering for the provision of school meals.

They provide a range of healthy meals with hot and cold options available. The menu consists of a daily meat, vegetarian and jacket potato option.

Ordering and Paying for Meals

All school meals need to be ordered online at least 7 days ahead. You will need to register with our online school meal payment provider School Grid. Meal options are also selected on the School Grid website. More details about this are available here:

All children in Years R-2 are entitled to free school meals, so no payment is required. For children in Years 3-6 there is a charge of £3.34 per day. Payment is required in advance and meals can only be ordered if there is a balance on the account. You are able to top up your balance at any time.

Under the Government scheme, there is an entitlement for free school meals for older children. To identify if you are eligible and apply please visit this link:

Water bottles

Please provide drinking water in your child’s water bottle. They can refill their water bottles at any time.

Nut free school

  We are a nut free school to reduce the risk to those children and adults who may have an identified allergy.

Please do not send any nuts, nut products in lunch boxes or snacks which are brought in from home. This includes:

• Packs of nuts
• Peanut butter sandwiches
• Chocolate spread (made with nuts) sandwiches
• Fruit and cereal bars that contain nuts
• Chocolate bars or sweets that contain nuts
• Cakes made with nuts
• Cakes or biscuits made with coconut oil.

We do not use nuts in any of our food prepared on site at our school. Our suppliers provide us with nut- free products. However, we cannot guarantee freedom from nut traces.

Birthday treats- sweets or cakes brought in from home

We cannot give out any sweets or cakes brought in from home to be given out as birthday treats.
