At Andover C of E Primary School, we are committed to helping our children become responsible global citizens who understand the importance of caring for God’s world. Sustainability is woven throughout our curriculum and school life, encouraging pupils to make thoughtful choices that benefit both their local community and the wider environment.
As part of this commitment, we are proud to be working with Let’s Go Zero, the national campaign supporting schools to reduce their carbon footprint and work towards a more sustainable future. Through this partnership, we are developing our Climate Action Plan, identifying ways to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, enhance biodiversity and promote sustainable travel. Let’s Go Zero provides schools with expert support, resources and guidance to help create healthier, greener learning environments for children.
Our pupils play an active role in this journey, learning about environmental issues and taking practical action through projects, outdoor learning and initiatives that make a positive difference. By working together as a school community, we aim to inspire lifelong habits that support a more sustainable future for everyone.
