Spelling
Your spellings this week are words from the Year 5 and 6 spelling list. Use the strategies in the pack to help you practice them. On Friday, you will be tested on them.

Today’s aim: use figurative language to describe.
Look back at your previous work. What could you see, hear, smell in Pandora? What would the temperature be like? What or who lives there?
Choose an image to write a descriptive paragraph about. Can you use each of the types of figurative language that you have looked at in the past lesson? Your writing should be at least half a page.

Complete the 6 times table activity first.
Today’s aim: measure angles.
Watch the video below to find out about the correct way to use a protractor.
Then, complete the two tasks. One has the protractor in place for you, the other needs you to use a protractor (if you have one). Finally, choose the reasoning task based on how well you understood the video and how confident you feel.
