In maths we will be consolidating our skills in addition and subtraction work. Use a number line or hundred square to help you answer questions where you add or subtract a one or two-digit number from a two-digit number. E.G:
30 + 5 =
20 + 15 =
20 - 8 =
50 - 30 =
You could also use these games to help you practise your addition and subtraction:

In History we will be thinking about the Great Fire of London and how it changed the capital. Houses were made with wood and straw and were built very closely together. Children should create a poster for the king, advising him with better strategies to rebuild London. They should think about which materials may be more suitable and how the houses should be spaced out.
Science
In science we have been learning about materials. This week we are focussing on recycling.
Read through the PowerPoint and have a go at the recycling sorting cards.
You could research your local area's recycling rules and design a poster to show what we can recycle in Andover.
