Week Beginning: 23.11.20

Monday English - Today we are going to create a mood-board/storyboard to generate ideas for our story version of 'Journey'. This can be set out in any way of your choosing, but some things from the book must be included.

  • Your main character must be a boy or girl.
  • Your story must start in a city.
  • The parents/carers must be too busy to play with the main character.
  • You must:
    • Find or already have a crayon (you can choose the colour).
    • Draw a door that will take you to another world/land.
    • Visit a castle.
    • Be captured by a villain.
    • Be saved by a crayon animal.
    • Make friends with the creator of the crayon animal.

Tuesday English - Today we are going to plan our story, using your mood-board/storyboard from yesterday. First, we are going to create a story mountain to outline the plot of your story. Then, we are going to use the 'Box-it-up' method to plan what each paragraph will be about.
