English 

This week, in English lessons, we will be focusing on the writing an internal monologue from Ariadne's viewpoint where she is thinking if she should help Theseus or not. On Friday you should have planned your monologue. 

 

Monday English - 

Write the first draft of your monologue remembering to use rhetorical questions, first person and ellipses.

 

Tuesday English -  

Edit and improve your monologue based on the following success criteria.

Today we are going to be planning a letter as if we were Theseus writing to his father King Ageas to tell him about what has happened to him since he left for Crete to defeat the Minotaur. 

 

Friday English - 

Write your letter remembering to use all the features below. 

 

 


 

Monday Maths - 

Today's lesson is ordering fractions by their common numerators continuing on from Friday's learning. Complete these activities below. 

 

Tuesday and Wednesday Maths - 

Today's lesson is adding and subtracting fractions. Please watch this video and them complete the worksheet below. 

 

Thursday and Friday Maths - 

Today's lesson is converting fractions, decimals and percentages. Please watch this video and them complete the worksheet below. 

 

 

Science 

This week, in science, we will be creating a new creature for a habitat. Have a think of the different habitats we have looked at over the half term. Will you choose a creature for the desert? Maybe one for the artic? Or one which lives in the rainforest? Once you have decided on the habitat, think about the different adaptations and features your creature will have. Use the planning sheet below to help you. 

RE 

History 

This week we will be looking at Greek Gods and Goddesses. Work your way through the powerpoint and then create a Greek God or Goddess factfile.
